Knab launched 2 digital campaigns with Bombilate Media: one featuring surprise applause moments and a podcast series for freelancers, the other delivering Christmas boxes to self-employed heroes. 📦

1. KNAB GEDAAN!

Digital campaign & podcast series 2025

Knab, the bank for freelancers, puts real self-employed professionals in the spotlight with this digital content series. Each episode, a freelancer is surprised with applause from friends, family and Knab staff, unscripted, real and emotional. From a tattoo artist to a beer brand founder, every story is different, every reaction real.

The series includes eight online videos across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, a compilation video and eight podcast episodes available on all major platforms. The podcasts dive deeper into each freelancer’s story, their drive, setbacks, lessons and decisions. And yes, there’s honest talk about money too. Freelancers were selected via Knab’s own channels. The call: who deserves applause? That’s #KnabKlapt. 👏🏻

2. KERSTPAKKETJE VAN KNAB! 

Digital campaign 2024

Freelancers handle everything for their clients, but who’s got their back when it comes to a holiday gift? This year, Knab —the bank for freelancers— surprised several self-employed heroes with a special Christmas package, personally delivered.

Over the past few weeks, Knab traveled across the country to surprise a select group of freelancers —nominated by their loved ones— with an extra-special Christmas gift. And as the star on top of the tree, none other than Dutch legend singer Ben Cramer serenaded them with a white Christmas, complete with a festive Santa hat. 🎅 

On top of that, dozens of other freelancers received a jam-packed Knab Christmas package to spread the cheer.
